HiPy was started in July 2016 by a group of researchers within the Faculty of Science and Engineering at University of Liverpool. The intiative is a response to a large demand from undergraduates and staff to learn coding skills which are highly prized by employers. Our mission is simple:Build an open, welcome community foranyonewho wants to learn Python.So, whether you're an absolute novice or seasoned hacker, if you're interested in Python come and join us. Our blend of webinar style walk-throughs and "try it yourself" challenges will keep you hungry for more while allowing you to work at your own pace. Following your participation in this online event you will be provided with access to the HiPy Slack community space which will continue to support you as you start on your coding journey.
