Workshop DetailsDuring the workshop we will create some audio reactive graphics, learning some of the basic principles of the software along the way. The workshop will cover;<ol><li>An overview of the software </li><li>How to importing and work with audio </li><li>2D and 3D Geometry </li><li> Driving animation with live data</li></ol>Each participant will require a copy of TouchDesigner along with a laptop to run it on. Touch Designer can be <a href="https://www.derivative.ca/099/Downloads/" target="_blank" data-msys-clicktrack="0" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer">downloaded here for free</a>.Participants are asked to bring their own laptop. Please also bring headphones and your laptop power charger. If you are unable to bring your own equipment please get in touch with us, as we have spares we can lend you. Please also bring along an audio file to work with! If you need help with any of this just let us know at lab@tinderboxcollective.orgAges: 16+

TouchDesigner<a href="https://www.derivative.ca/" target="_blank" data-msys-clicktrack="0" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer">TouchDesigner</a> is a free visual development platform that allows you to create stunning realtime visuals for live events.

About the Tinderbox Lab<a href="https://tinderboxcollective.org/tinderbox-lab/" target="_blank" data-msys-clicktrack="0" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer">Tinderbox Lab</a> is the new digital arm of the Tinderbox Collective; a shared-studio space bringing together artists across disciplines with an interest in digital media and interactive technologies. We do workshops, drop-in sessions, residencies and loads more!Location: Tinderbox Lab is in Custom House. For access please come to the front steps/foyer of the building and ring the buzzer marked Tinderbox. Custom House also has level access which we can arrange.** If the price of the ticket is prohibitive and you would otherwise like to come, please get in touch with us (lab@tinderboxproject.co.uk), and we can sort you out with a reserved place.
