Introduction to Welding

All our courses take place in our fully equipped workshop at Alma Yard a revitalised rope factory, which comprises a series of buildings dating back to the mid 19th century and is  home to a community of creatives including The Weld Space. It is located on an iconic coastal rise just a short walk from Plymouth’s Barbican.Through our welding courses you will receive 1-2-1 instruction in the use our high quality equipment and machinery. We provide the materials and personal protective equipment required. All our welding classes are structured in a fun, social and relaxed way that allows you to explore welding at your own pace.

The Weld Space

This one-day course will introduce you to the basics of welding metal and let you have a go at welding to create your own object in metal.
