About this event

During this hands-on workshop you will be introduced to Mig, Spot & Arc Welding – learning more about what they are and when and where to use them.

Tips and tricks for beginners and improvers

Welders terms, types of joints and problem solving

Learn how to join steel together and gain confidence by practicing techniques. You will have lots of practical time to use a Mig welder to build your own steel objects from a variety of interesting shapes.

You will also join sheet steel with a spot welder and try out an arc (stick) welder. You will also use an angle grinder to prepare or finish parts.

It is essential to wear old clothes and strong footwear

Basic materials are included.
