Overview

A hands-on volunteering opportunity with the Natural Environment team removing Holm oak

You'll be helping dig out Holm oak (Quercus ilex) saplings and contribute to the wider management of Les Blanches Banques SSI.

Holm oak is a prolific seeder and because of its ability to be drought and salt tolerant, this species can have a negative impact on our dunes.

This is a fantastic opportunity to use your volunteer hours and make a positive difference to our natural environment.

Please bring your own refreshments.

Tools will be provided.

Please dress for the weather and wear sturdy shoes / boots. If you have gardening gloves you are welcome to bring them with you!
