Julie Temple, Head of Employment at Birkett Long, will lead you through the essentials of carrying out a workplace investigation. This session will cover critical investigation techniques, including:


  • Planning the investigation
  • Conducting effective investigation meetings
  • Gathering and assessing evidence
  • Writing a comprehensive investigation report


This session is ideal for those looking to strengthen their investigation skills, whether you’re new to the process or seeking to refine your expertise.

This is the first in a Series of Events for Essex and Ipswich CIPD Members: Employment Tribunal Skills Development.

Whether you attend all three events or just one, each session is designed to enhance your knowledge and prepare you for the final event—a hands-on Mock Employment Tribunal


About the speaker

Julie Temple will be known to many of you and is a longstanding committee member of the Essex and Ipswich CIPD branch. Julie is also a partner and head of the employment and BLHR team at Birkett Long. Julie is recognised as a leading individual in her field by Legal 500. Her main focus is working with and advising commercial clients on all aspects of employment. Many clients have a long standing relationship with Julie and Birkett Long.
