IOSH Managing Safely is a leading course for managers, covering key health and safety responsibilities in the workplace.

Managing Safely is designed for managers and supervisors in any sector, and any organisation.

Delegates will gain the knowledge and tools to tackle the safety and health issues they are are responsible for. Managing Safely makes a powerful case for safety and health being an integral part of day-to-day management and business.

Course covers the following topics:

  • Assessing risks
  • Controlling risks
  • Understanding responsibilities
  • Understanding hazards
  • Investigating incidents
  • Measuring performance

From undertaking Managing Safely, Organisations can benefit from greater productivity, from fewer hours lost due to sickness and accidents, improved company-wide safety awareness culture and appreciation of safety measures and active staff involvement to improve the workplace.

This course is to be delivered at the North Cambridgeshire Training Centre by a very experienced and qualified tutor.

Course will run on 6, 7, 8 May 2026 at the North Cambridgeshire Training Centre with assessment on the final day.

Please note we run all our courses based on a minimum number of participants.

In the event of cancellation by the client not less than 10 working days before the course, the client will be entitled to a refund of 80% of the course fee (20% will be deducted for administration costs). A cancellation within 10 days of commencement will result in no refund to the client
