Come join us at the IoT Workshop in Edinburgh on 31stMay, to discover what makes IoT a compelling technology that can deliver benefits and opportunities across a broad range of business and service activities.  
Your participation will help shape the growth of IoT in Edinburgh and forge new collaborations to accelerate the local development and adoption of IoT, a key component of the upcoming Edinburgh and South East Scotland city region Data Driven Innovation Programme.
The University of Edinburgh has been developing a new IoT Research and Innovation Service which establishes an end-to-end system from sensor to insight, involving an extensive network of devices and gateways, together with software tools for data analysis and visualisation. This workshop is an opportunity for you to hear more about the new IoT Service, help us shape our future direction and explore how you might benefit from IoT in your own organisation. This is an exciting time as we prepare to open the IoT service up to partners across the Edinburgh and South East Scotland city region.
Organised by the University of Edinburgh IoT Inititiave and the University of Edinburgh’s new Bayes Centre for data technology, this workshop will allow you to meet with innovators and industry partners developing this rapidly maturing technology.
Hear from expert speakers across industry, academia and the public sector, and take part in discussions focused on developing new collaborative opportunities. You’ll be able to network and make new connections with like-minded innovators working with IoT.
Who should attend? Industry partners, start-ups, SME’s, public sector partners, Innovators and academics with an active interest in IoT technology
