This year’s conference will explore some of the most pressing and emerging issues in the field, including:
- How race intersects with gender, age, disability, and socioeconomic status to shape inequalities in health outcomes
- Racial bias embedded in clinical research and evidence generation
- Barriers to accessing healthcare—and how community organisations are transforming trust, participation, and engagement
- Lived experiences of inequality and discrimination among both patients and healthcare professionals
- Innovative and ethical approaches to researching race, racism, and health equity
- Challenges and opportunities for inclusion health communities facing wider intersectional disadvantage
- How medical curriculum design and learning environments can advance equity and drive change
Through presentations, discussions, and networking sessions, participants will hear from experts, practitioners, and community partners whose work is shaping the future of health equity research and practice.
