Join Iriss for an evidence café on the theme of our popular ESSS Outline 'Newly qualified social workers, supervision and child protection'
About this event
Over a cuppa we’ll facilitate discussion so you can:
- engage with the evidence in the ESSS Outline
- share practice and learn with other colleagues
- explore using evidence in your practice
- find out more about how Iriss can support you to use evidence
Who is this event for?
Social workers with an interest in evidence-informed practice and this subject area. We expect that participants will be a mixed group with different roles, interests and experiences of using evidence, so be prepared to share and hear from a range of perspectives!
Do I need to bring anything?
Come ready to talk about why you’re interested in this topic and, if you can, take a look at the ESSS Outline in advance to see if there’s anything in the evidence base that stands out to you. Newly qualified social workers, supervision and child protection (link takes you away from this page).

Free of charge to attend but registration through Eventbrite is essential. Please let us know if your plans change so we can offer your place to someone else.
