Join us for a celebration of food growing and community gardening in Islington. Sunday 7th September 11 – 4pm at Whittington Park Community Centre, Yerbury Road, N19 4RS. No need to book tickets - just turn up!
Are you growing flowers, fruit, vegetables or any other edible plants? Whether you’re a seasoned gardener or new grower, we welcome you to showcase your harvest and share it with the Islington gardening community. No experience, no problem – this event is all about celebrating the joy of gardening and learning from each other. Come along to meet the Islington gardening and food growing communities, hear some of their inspirational stories and add yours to the pot. Show your harvest, share food and tell your growing story.
Expect amazing fruit & vegetables from all over the world, activities for all ages and some special guests!
Activities include:
- Flower and produce show
- Garden Classroom – Art in Nature
- Gardening workshops: training, tips and advice
- Using upcycled materials in the garden
- Build a cob bee hotel
- African drumming workshop
- Food and drink
- Tree walks
- Ecology and nature walks
Show us your produce, flowers and edible creations. We’re not necessarily looking for the best, straightest and biggest so bring along your wonky stuff, vegetable carvings, flower pressings…anything you’ve grown can be shown!

Please Note: All exhibits for the show must be at the Community Centre by 11:30am. Entries can be made upon arrival between 11:00 - 11:30am.
