In this event, we will talk about WebAssembly - running native code in the browser & extending the microservice idea to frontend development

<h3>Agenda:</h3>17:00 - Opening Words: Tom Sela, Director of Research at Team817:05 - Curv ❤️ WebAssembly: The journey of running native code in the browserWebAssembly is a fast-growing technology designed to safely execute the most demanding applications (Cryptography, 3D, and more) written in native languages, such as C++, portably inside the browser. At Curv, a blockchain security start-up, we were looking for an ability to deliver our state-of-the-art MPC library written in C++, combined with neat looking React-based UI components to a standalone, offline application. In this talk, we would learn the building blocks of WebAssembly such as calling C++ code from JS and vice-versa, and see how Curv uses those to protect its clients’ millions of dollars in Bitcoin in an air-gapped environment.
