TheFestival of Natureis back from the 7-15th June in the West of England and online!This year our theme is WATER. Wherever you are, find out how you can help protect our precious water habitats at home. We hope you have fun, try something new, and – most importantly – feel inspired to take action for nature.Festival of Nature is organised by the Natural History Consortium a collaboration of 13 organisations working together on a shared mission: to engage everyone with the natural world through collaborative action.

Festival of Nature is the UK’s largest celebration of the natural world, taking place 1 – 9 June across Bristol and Bath.

Festival of Nature's talks and screenings programme at the former IMAX Theatre inside Bristol Aquarium during Wild Weekend  1-2 June!

We are all familiar with water; we see it every day. In this interactive show we help you dive a little deeper, to think about what water is made from and all the amazing things it can do. From absorbing water effectively, to dissolving chemicals in it, you can squash, freeze and heat water to do all sorts of things. Its properties really are extraordinary!This show is run by presenter and science communicator David Price from Science Made Simple.Suitable for all ages.Free with optional donation.Doors will open 15 minutes before the start time for each talk and screening.Getting ThereThe screening is taking place in the Former IMAX Cinema within Bristol Aquarium. The Aquarium is easy to find, located in the heart of Bristol City Centre on the historic Harbourside. Please come to Anchor Road.
