Step into a world of elegance and sophistication with Ivory and Gold—a musical journey featuring the talents of Brian Davidson on the piano and Jane Osmani-Pearce on her dazzling gold flute (accompanied by David Turner). A selection of solo piano, solo flute and flute accompanied by piano. Spanning a range of French and German composers from Bach to Ravel, Reinecke to Debussy and also featuring one of Brian's own piano compositions.

Brian studied at the Royal College of Music and later in Paris and Canada. A lecturer in piano and history for many years at the Royal Conservatoire of Scotland and now teaching at the City of Edinburgh Music School. We are delighted to see him return to the Scottish Arts Club.

Jane studied the flute with Eddie Becket at the London Guildhall School of Music and Martin Parry principal flute of the London Philharmonic Orchestra during the late 1980s. Whilst pursuing a career in finance, Jane always retained a passion for the flute and more recently has taught privately and at Merchiston Castle School. A qualified Suzuki flute teacher and co-founder of Spectrum Music - flute and cello duet.

Charcuterie & Fromage Plates are available to pre-order on arrival to enjoy in the Club room post performance. Venue open until 11pm.
