About this event

Please note that this is a two-day course delivered via Zoom. The full agenda and timings for both days is below.

The two IWA Professional Training courses (Decision Making in Wales and Influencing Political Outcomes) are designed by the IWA, and led by Andy Regan, our Policy & External Affairs Manager.

Andy has over ten years experience of decision making and influencing in Wales, both inside and outside public bodies. Before joining the IWA, Andy was an energy policy specialist at Citizens Advice - coordinating the Fuel Poverty Coalition Cymru. He has also worked for Ofgem, the Older People's Commissioner for Wales, and the Office of the Secretary of State for Wales.

Decision Making in Wales will:

- Give learners a good understanding of how Government and politics works in Wales.

- Provide an overview of the roles of the Senedd and Welsh Government, and how decisions are made.
