IWIRC Great Returners Programme - Session 2 - Being Present
Coach facilitated session – titled “Being Present”
Please join us for Session 2 of the Great Returners Programme: Being Present
Thursday 30 April 2026 at 12:30pm
Join us for an interactive and practical session on Being Present as a returner.
We will explore what it truly means to be present and what gets in the way, whether that's the pull of an overloaded inbox, the next case/matter on your mind, or the pressure to always be performing. Using a simple but powerful model, you will leave with at least three tools you can use straight away to achieve a higher quality of presence whether at home or at work.
As with session 1, session 2 will be a hybrid session, taking place at Squire Patton Boggs’ offices for those able to attend in person, with lunch being served from 12pm, or via Zoom for those who prefer to dial in. The session will begin at 12:30pm.
For more information contact Becky Terrace (Rebecca.terrace@squirepb.com).
About the Great Returners Programme:
For those new to the programme, it is designed to support individuals returning to work from a long-term period of leave, whether that be a sabbatical, parental, maternity, sick-leave, or otherwise. Offered to IWIRC members, the Programme involves a variety of workshops throughout the year, with a mix of in-person and remote workshops. The sessions are facilitated by Kate Adey and Fahrah Gulamhusein, specialist return to work coaches, who create a safe and inviting space for members to discuss topics affecting returners, acquire practical skills to manage the change in dynamic, and foster connections between individuals in a similar stage of life.
