Welcome music lovers! 🎶 Join us for JAM @ St James Music Workshop at St James the Great Church on February 20th & 21st, 2026 at 10:00 AM (Europe/London Time). Let's come together to share our passion for music and learn from each other. Whether you're a beginner or a pro, this workshop is for everyone. Don't miss out on this opportunity to connect with fellow musicians and have a great time. Musical Instruments provided. See you there!

This event is free and has been made possible through the support of St James Church and Hackney Voices Community Choir. Donations are very welcome and will help us to continue and develop the programme.

St James the Great Church, Clapton. E5 8EH. (Limited parking available)

🎵 What to Expect

Children will take part in a fun, creative music workshop led by experienced professional musicians. Activities will include learning basic instrumental skills across a range of instruments, group singing, ear training, active listening, and ensemble playing — all within a safe and supportive environment.

All sessions are led by musicians who are working in line with safeguarding procedures.

🧾 Paperwork

Parents/carers will be required to complete and sign safeguarding and consent paperwork.
These will be:

• Sent by email in advance or
• Available to sign on arrival (please allow extra time)

Children will not be able to take part without completed consent forms.

🥪 Lunch & Refreshments

Please provide:

• A packed lunch
• A water bottle

Please note any allergies or dietary requirements on the consent form.
