Where does the event take place?

The event takes place in Sarah's music room at her home on Gratitude Road, BS5.

How many people attend each week?

Usuually between 3 and 6. 7 is the maximum number of participants.

Do I need to attend all the sessions in each term?

No, the group works on a drop in basis but we tend to work on a song over a number of weeks and so anyone dropping in will need to slot in where they can. The groups are small enough for Sarah to accommodate each member's level to an extent.

Can I pay cash / BACs?

Yes, I'm happy for you to pay cash on the day or via BACs or Revolut.

Why do I need to make contact via to attending?

Sarah needs to know some basic information about your musical background and to send you directions on where to come.

Jamming for the Terrified are relaxed, fun, no pressure classes for adult musicians of all instruments and all abilities.

JftT BEGINNERS group is the first step for people new to Jamming for the
Terrified. It is for musicians of all levels who want to develop improvisation skills in a gentle, supportive environment. The focus is on how music works; what chords are and how to improvise around them, becoming familiar with intervals and how to use them to improvise and build an internal musical map. How to learn tunes by ear, add accompaniments, make arrangements and music composition.
