Our Grand Quiz opens the Jane's Walk week, toasts its namesake Jane Jacobs, and raises the funds that keep this much-loved festival going.
THIS YEAR IT'S A DOUBLE LAUNCH - We are delighted to share the evening with the launch of Walk with Words, a new interactive walking route, linking Colchester City Centre with Greenstead and the University of Essex (UoE), designed to encourage self-guided exploration of Colchester en route, as walkers are invited to share stories of the city through walking. Walk with Words is a collaborative project, commissioned by Colchester City Council and UoE, and conceived by Dallas–Pierce–Quintero. Walk with Words will be walked for the first time publicly as part of the Jane's Walk programme.

Doors open 6.45pm for a 7pm (prompt!) start
BRING YOUR OWN DRINKS (alcohol and soft), glasses to drink from.
FOOD - our favourite chefs, TOAST, all the way from South Wales, will be serving Chilean-inspired street food from the Cardinal Bourne kicthen (£7)(https://www.instagram.com/toast_southwales/)
TEAMS/TABLES of 4-6. Ideally get a team together with friends beforehand. But don't be put off booking if you are not part of a team - there are bound to be teams formed on the night and spare seats on tables!
RAFFLE with some GREAT TOP PRIZES (including a mosaic sculpture by artist Anne Schwegmann-Fielding; a ceramic piece by artist Vanessa Baxter; the design services of award-winning sustainable kitchen/bathroom designer, Sandy Armitage, to help a lucky winner design their kitchen or bathroom - or other room in their home).
