[12:58, 12/01/2026] Shirley-Ann Haig: Lynn is a seasoned HR and OD professional having achieved her career goal of operating at Board level as an executive director of HR, Workforce and OD within several organisations in the NHS. She has also taken the lead at national level for NHS Scotland on HR shared services and CEO and Chair leadership development programmes. Lynn is experienced in working across the broad health and social care sector, including acute, primary care, MH, local authority social care, VCSE organisations. Along with private healthcare providers setting up new contracts etc. Lynn also currently works with a range of private sector
businesses (IT, legal, online sales and retail)
Lynn has a Masters Degree in Management Learning from the internationally renowned
MAML programme at the Lancaster University Business School and is a Fellow of the
Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development (FCIPD).
A qualified coach, she is also a Myers Briggs Type Indicator (MBTI) and Hogan psychometric assessments practitioner.
Along with experience of redesigning and redeveloping at organisational and team level, in her earlier career Lynn led the design, development and delivery of leadership and management development courses, within both the public and private sectors; ranging from first time leaders to board and executive team levels. She also led and facilitated various OD projects such as company mergers and acquisitions along with service redesign work. Lynn ensures she brings a wealth of her personal leadership experiences and style to every programme and coaching session, thriving on the privilege of supporting others’ development and learning.
As an experienced HR and Organisation Development professional, Lynn’s session will focus on the recent, upcoming and future proposed changes which will affect all businesses - in particular SMEs - with the phased introduction of the Employment Rights Bil
