Java Bootcamp

This 12-week Java Boot Camp is an Instructor-Led, Practical learning program to prepare you to work professionally as a Java coder.

Times: 10am-11.30am: Part Time, 90 minutes per session

Duration: 2 months, 8 sessions:

• 1 lesson per week,
• Plus weekly exercises and examples, working on a project,
• Plus personal trainer-mentor for 1-1 training,
• Plus course notes: Notes per session meaning 8 Java books
• 400+ code samples, meaning 50 code samples per session to illustrate all the topics
• Videos: 3 hours videos per session, meaning 18 videos per session

At the end of the course you would be able to code Java programs for back-end coders. Front-end intro with Java FX.

This course will give you enough practical experience and practical projects to code, to give you full confidence to enter into the coding profession. The Oracle Examination is a very well recognized and in-demand industry award.

Practical Final Project:
The Weekly challenges and exercises, build towards a final practical project, to show case on github.

Projects:
Student may choose from a few given options, prioritise frontend, backend or full stack for their projects.

Project requirements for certificationCertificate,:
To receive the PCWorkshops Programmer Java Certificate, students need to work on a project and complete practicals.
Uploading any one project of your choice, is necessary for the certificate.
We evaluate practicals during the course of the bootcamp.
Exclusion from projects:
If you would like to be excluded from the project, then you mention that on the registration form.You may be excluded from the project, but this will not qualify you for any discount.
In-work professionals:
Some students attend because their employers want them to attend to upgrade their skills and they sometime apply to be excused from the projects, because they have limited time and they work already where they are involved in their professional projects.

4. Java Data Structures and Collections
5. Exceptions, I/O Fundamentals, reading and writing files. Csv,txt,dat Files. Excel spreadsheets. Json Files and data via Api's.
6. Streams and Lambdas
7. Database principles and SQL. JDBC ( Download JDBC and MySql Driver)
8. Java Concurrency and Multi-threading
9. Java Test-Driven Development with JUnit ( Download JUnit)
