JCG Table Talks Workshop 10

JCG Table Talks Workshop 10

JCG Senior School HallSt Saviour, Jersey
Friday, Mar 13, 2026 from 9:30 am to 10:30 am GMT
Overview

We will enjoy morning coffee in Hector’s where Mr Howarth will facilitate a relaxed and open conversation with parents who attend.

At Jersey College for Girls, we believe in the power of shared moments around the table, where parents come together to nurture not only their children but also the strong bonds within our community. This forum serves as a space where JCG parents can engage in meaningful conversations, fostering connections that go beyond the everyday challenges of raising adolescents.

We hope you can join us for the next Table Talk workshop, from 0930-1030 on Friday 13th March

We will enjoy morning coffee in Hector’s where Mr Howarth will facilitate a relaxed and open conversation with parents who attend.

We plan to offer similar opportunities throughout the year at different times of day in the hope that different time slots can accommodate families with different schedules and demands upon their time.

You might be interested to read positive feedback we received from parents who joined previous sessions:

"I found the discussion very interesting and informative, it was also reassuring to hear that I’m not alone, and that we all struggle from time to time with our teenagers.”

More testimonoals can be found on our website, along with an overview of the wider Parent Academy programme (of which Table Talks is one part): https://jerseycollegeforgirls.com/fr/jcg/parent-academy

The format of the event, designed to foster powerful conversations and the strengthening of community bonds, does limit us to 16 places.

If you have any other questions about this Table Talks even, please do not hesitate to contact me directly. Please direct any general queries about the Parent Academy to Simon Milner (Assistant Headteacher) s.milner@jcg.sch.je
