Jesmonite Coasters
Create your own Jesmonite coaster with artist and maker Kim Searle using a variety of geometric and recycled moulds.
Jesmonite is a versatile material that will create a different result every time. In this session, you'll learn how to weigh it, mix it, and add colours and textural effects.
Coasters can be made with pale pastels or vibrant shades, block colours or fantastic marbled or terrazzo effects. You’ll get to try a type of Jesmonite that will set by the end of the session, as well as another type that will set the next day and has a much more organic look.
All materials provided, no experience necessary.
There’s also another Jesmonite workshop later in the day where participants will create their own plant pots– find out more here: Kelham Makes: Jesmonite Plant Pots Tickets, Sun, Apr 26, 2026 at 1:30 PM | Eventbrite
