Jewellery & Silversmithing Workshop: Silver Bangle Workshop

At this workshop you will be shown how to make sterling silver bangles – the choice of texture and thickness, whether you wish to interlink the bangles, or maybe add a charm is up to you!  During the morning you should be able to make 1 or maybe 2 bangles, depending on your choice of designs. 
With close supervision and guidance throughout the class, you will be shown all the skills you will need to make and size your bangles, including hand-sawing, filing, texturing and soldering.  
The price does not include the cost of materials.  All the sterling silver required to make your jewellery can be bought on the day using cash, card or cheque. Approximately £10 of sterling silver will make one average sized bangle, depending on the designs you choose.
Please arrive at my Studio at 10.50am;  it is advisable to wear old clothes, and for health and safety no open toe shoes and long hair to be tied back.  Tea, coffee, soft drinks and biscuits will be provided.  The studio is on the ground floor.
The closest car park to the Craft Village is the Craft Village section of the Mundy Play Centre car park, DE22 4NH.  Turn into the car park off Markeaton Lane, turn right into the right hand corner of the car park and follow the little track round.  Once parked, walk through the archway in the wall in the corner and you are outside the Craft Village.    Alternative parking is at the main car park, DE22 4AA, entrance off Markeaton Island, A38, with 2m height restriction.  The car parks are pay &amp; display, cash payment only.
