Join us and shape London’s Built Environment Workforce

Central Criminal CourtLondon, England
Tuesday, Jan 20, 2026 from 6 pm to 8 pm GMT
Overview

Join senior council leaders for an evening focused on shaping London’s future workforce and creating a more sustainable built environment.

You are invited to an evening reception bringing together the local government and private-sector leaders building London’s future.

Held in the historic surroundings of the Grand Hall, at the Central Criminal Court – commonly known as the Old Bailey - this exclusive event will convene the key policymakers and investors shaping London’s built environment.

Council Leaders, Cabinet Members and senior local authority officers will come together with London’s leading investors, developers and property professionals, to drive meaningful progress on funding, co-ordinating and delivering skills, training and employment across the built environment sector.

This reception offers a unique opportunity for London’s political and planning leaders to support the new Future Skyline Skills Commitment - a free, industry-led pledge that accredits and incentivises employers’ efforts to recruit, retain and develop new entrants to the sector. Your insights will help ensure your borough’s priorities are embedded in the commitment.

Working together, we can strengthen public-private partnerships to address skills gaps and make better use of planning and procurement levers to boost skills development, social value and sustainability training.

Confirm your attendance and be part of this important conversation shaping London’s future workforce.

Hosted by Sheriff Keith Bottomley, Chairman of the Skills for a Sustainable Skyline Taskforce, and supported by industry body, London Property Alliance.
