Jonathan Coe: Interview and Reading

Shilling Building AuditoriumEgham, Surrey
Tuesday 16 June  •  Starts at 5:15 PM
Overview

In this special event novelist Jonathan Coe (What a Carve Up!, The Rotters' Club) will be interviewed followed by a reading from his works.

Jonathan Coe is one of the UK’s leading novelists. He writes both moving, small-scale personal novels and larger scale ‘state-of-the-nation’ novels which explore the political and moral issues that form Britain today, like the award-winning Middle England (2018) and most recently The Proof of My Innocence (2025).

History and politics are an abiding interest for Coe, and he will be interviewed by leading historian Dan Stone and novelist and screenwriter Nikita Lalwani (Under Salt Marsh, The Outlaws, Picture This) as well as reading from his work.
