And if other comedians have done so, then I’m afraid to tell you they are outright cowards. I’m doing a stand up show that’s mostly just daft stuff; songs are a big bit of it (almost half, I think) and then I tell some lies for about 10 minutes, and then there’s a bit at the end that’s almost too far the other way; like it sometimes makes people worry for me cos I talk about my anxiety issues but I promise it’s really nice in the end. It’s not one of THOSE shows (no shade on those shows; I actually love those shows tbh) where there’s anything genuinely traumatic. I’m in a pretty good place actually.
