Joy for Ever: Live Wikithon with Keep It Complex
Date and time
Description
An informative group research session and Wiki-edit-a-thon to promote the work of unacknowledged women working in and around John Ruskin's field of research. Introduction and research support by Dr Rachel Dickinson with facilitation by Keep it Complex
Keep it Complex invites the public to discuss and gather research on underrepresented female contemporaries of John Ruskin. The event will start with an introduction to women working in John Ruskin’s field by specialist scholar Dr Rachel Dickinson, followed by a group discussion and Wikipedia edit-a-thon. Together, the group will discuss, collate research and make new Wikipedia profiles for relevant women, to reinsert these women into the history of a time that has arguably been dominated by Ruskin's work.
