Clapham Chamber Concerts are delighted to welcome the Jubilee String Quartet with a programme of Schubert and Haydn.

Clapham Chamber Concerts are delighted to welcome the Jubilee String Quartet, first prize winners at the Gianni Bergamo International Chamber Music Competition in 2019, to perform a double bill on 13th May. Opening with Haydn’s Op. 103, the composer’s final offering to the genre, the first concert at 6pm also includes Webern’s sumptuous Langsamer Satz and Schubert’s early String Quartet in E flat D. 87. The second performance at 8pm features Schubert’s last quartet, his String Quartet in G major D. 887. This an ideal opportunity to hear an outstanding young ensemble prior to their performance at the Wigmore Hall coffee concerts later this month.Please note there are two different programmes for these performancesFOR THESE CONCERTS THERE IS A SPECIAL DOUBLE BILL PRICE - BOTH CONCERTS FOR A REDUCED PRICE!
