JUCE Machine Learning Hackathon

ROLI is a design-led technology company based in Dalston, London. Our first product, the Seaboard GRAND, is a radically new musical instrument that reimagines the piano keyboard as a soft, continuous surface. The Seaboard’s polyphonic pitch bend, vibrato and per-note dynamic changes are marrying the intuitiveness of a traditional instrument with the versatility of digital technology.

You are invited to JUCE's first hackathon!
JUCE is teaming up with leading music technology academic institutions  <A HREF="http://eavi.goldsmithsdigital.com/" TARGET="_blank" DATA-MSYS-CLICKTRACK="0" REL="nofollow noopener noreferrer">Goldsmiths</A>, <A HREF="http://ircam.fr" TARGET="_blank" DATA-MSYS-CLICKTRACK="0" REL="nofollow noopener noreferrer">IRCAM</A> and <A HREF="http://www.mtg.upf.edu/" TARGET="_blank" DATA-MSYS-CLICKTRACK="0" REL="nofollow noopener noreferrer">Pompeu Fabra</A> to integrate cutting edge Machine Learning technologies to JUCE. The purpose of this hackathon is to create exciting prototypes using Machine Learning, and improve the integration and usability with JUCE. This is your chance to influence this exciting new module.
<H3>Be the first to try RapidLib, the new machine learning module of JUCE</H3>
The <A HREF="http://www.juce.com" TARGET="_blank" DATA-MSYS-CLICKTRACK="0" REL="nofollow noopener noreferrer">JUCE</A> team in collaboration with <A HREF="http://rapidmix.goldsmithsdigital.com/" TARGET="_blank" DATA-MSYS-CLICKTRACK="0" REL="nofollow noopener noreferrer">rapidmix</A> is adding a new JUCE module specifically for machine learning tasks. This module will allow you to train a model and identify features in real-time. Combined with the current capabilities in JUCE, this module will enable machine learning capabilities in your audio app/plug-in leveraging multiple machine-learning algorithms.

<H3>Learn from experts</H3>
Researchers from Goldsmiths and IRCAM, as well as members of the JUCE team will present the technologies and help you get started using them.
In this hackathon, you will be presented with C++ libraries built by our partners to get started using Machine Learning with JUCE. Machine Learning has revolutionised search and user interaction, and we believe there's a strong potential for music and audio too!
