Amina Masood Janjua founded a registered trust with the name Defence of Human Rights Pakistan which had recorded more than 2500 authentic cases of human rights in Pakistan. Currently, she is an Amicus Curiae in important cases before Islamabad High Court. She successfully resolved 900 human rights violation cases across Pakistan, and participated in all leading talk shows and TV programs regarding human rights and disappearance issues on local electronic media like Dawan TV, Geo TV, Aaj TV, Express News, Dunya TV etc and international channels like BBC World, ABC News, CNN and many other news media of importance. She has written numerous articles on human rights in leading newspapers of Pakistan including Daily Jang, Daily Nawa-i-Waqt,Daily The News, Daily The Dawn etc, has been interviewed and written about and had been quoted in all the major local and foreign newspapers and periodicals like Daily Jang, Daily Nawa-i-Waqt, Daily The News, Daily Dawn locally and New York Times, the Washington Post, Guardian, UK times internationally, was able to build awareness on disappeared citizens nationwide and getting more than 800 detainees released from prisons.In 2008 she visited Europe at the invitation of Amnesty International. During the visit she had meetings with ministers and parliamentarians of the human rights desk of Germany, Switzerland, Norway, Sweden, and the United Kingdom.In 2010 visited Nepal to represent Human Rights issues in Pakistan in an International Jurist conference. She travelled widely 2014-2017 in Asian countries such as the Philippines, Thailand, Nepal, Sri Lanka to take part in conferences, lobby, and campaign against enforced disappearances, an phenomenon, as a member of AFAD Asian Federation against involuntary disappearances. She participated in May 2016, in 109th Human Rights Council sessions of the Working Group of Enforced Disappearances in the United Nations, Geneva, Switzerland. She participated in 28th Pre-UPR sessions in the United Nations,Geneva regarding Pakistan’s UPR in October 2017 and in 20 Anniversary celebrations-a weeklong series of events of Asian Federation against Involuntary Disappearance(AFAD) in Manila Philippines in June 2018.

Professor Hakeem Yusuf previously worked as the Chair in Law and Global Studies at the Derby Law School, University of Derby. Professor Yusuf has researched extensively in transitional justice, economic and social rights, and comparative judicial constitutionalism. In 2011, he served on a truth and reconciliation commission in Osun State, South-West Nigeria. His book, Transitional Justice, Judicial Accountability and the Rule of Law (Routledge 2010) was shortlisted for the 2010 Kevin Boyle Prize. His second book Colonial and Post-Colonial Constitutionalism in the Commonwealth Peace, Order and Good Government (Routledge 2014) was awarded the John T. Saywell Prize for Canadian Constitutional Legal History 2015.

Dr Moohyung Cho is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Political Science and International Relations at Ewha Womans University, South Korea. He received his PhD in Political Science at Duke University in 2020 with a specialization in comparative politics and political institutions. His research interests include comparative political institutions, judicial politics, autocracy and democracy, and the political economy of institutions. He has worked as a visiting researcher at the Humboldt University of Berlin and Seoul National University.

" In 1979 he was appointed as Assistant Advocate General Punjab and thereafter he became Additional Advocate General and finally the Advocate General Punjab in 1993. In 1994, he was elevated as Judge of the Lahore High Court, Lahore and having served there for ten years (from August 7, 1994 to July 2004), he was elevated to the Supreme Court of Pakistan ( in July 2004). In December 2013, Justice Jillani was sworn in as the new Chief Justice of Pakistan following the retirement of his predecessor. Justice Jillani has participated in several international conferences and colloquiums where he spoke on issues which included “Domestic Application of International Human Rights”, “Gender Justice”, “Alternative Dispute Resolution”, “Forced Marriages”, “Transnational Child Abduction” and “Religious Tolerance”. Justice Tassaduq Hussain Jillani is known as a liberal, independent and balanced Judge. As a Judge of the High Court and Supreme Courts, he delivered opinions and authored judgments on various issues of domestic and international concern such as enforcement of fundamental rights (Ahmad Abdullah v. Govt of the Punjab, PLD 2003 Lahore 752), gender equality, the right of an adult woman to marry a person of her choice in Islam (Humaira Mehmood v. The State PLD 1999 Lahore 494), declaring the right to education a fundamental right (Ahmed Abdullah’s case ibid) and holding that in an age of globalized inter-dependence, dual nationality should be permitted (Umar Ahmad Ghumman v. Govt of Pakistan PLD 2002 Lahore 521), laying down guidelines for qualitative improvement in legal (Pakistan Bar Council v. Federal Government PLD 2007 SC 394) and medical education (Pakistan Medical &amp; Dental Council v. Ziauddin Medical University PLD 2007 SC 323)." "Judge Izuako was appointed as a judge of the UNDT (United Nations Dispute Tribunal) in Nairobi effective 1 July 2009. She was formerly a High Court judge in the Solomon Islands. Previously, she held office as a High Court judge in Anambra State in Nigeria, as a High Court judge in The Gambia, and an acting judge of the Gambia Court of Appeal. In each of these jurisdictions, and as a judge of a court of general jurisdiction, she handled labour and administrative law matters. She was also a law lecturer at Nnamdi Azikiwe University in Nigeria and in the Gambia Technical Institute. She holds law degrees from the University of Ife, Nigeria (1976 and 1981)."
