All participants and session presenters of the June 2018 NEwComERs training week http://libwww.essex.ac.uk/newcomers.htm are welcome to join this opening networking session to kick off the programme. Refreshments will be provided. This opening session will be facilitated and introduced by the Newcomers team and the Deputy Deans for Research Professor Zig St. Clair Gibson (Science and Health) and Professor John Preston (Sociology).

The Network for Early Career Essex Researchers – NEwComERs is aiming to create a forum that brings together researchers interested in the different aspects of the research lifecycle and aims to stimulate collaboration and opportunities for shared learning and interdisciplinary work. To provide a framework for the NEwComERs network we are running a one week training programme twice a year consisting of training sessions covering services available at the University supporting researchers along the research lifecycle.
