Junk Journaling Workshop
Join Nature in Common for a relaxed, junk-journaling session. Turn unwanted material into a beautiful scrapbook.
Ever looked at an old envelope, magazine, scrap of wrapping paper or bit of packaging and thought “I might use that one day”?
Well, this is your excuse to actually use it! 😄
We're running three fortnightly Junk Journalling sessions:
Thursday 18th September
Thursday 2nd October
Thursday 16th October
More to come if it’s popular!
Junk journalling is a type of scrapbooking that uses old and unwanted materials. Instead of throwing away bits of paper, packaging, tickets, envelopes and other odds and ends, you can turn them into pages, collages, memories and whatever else you fancy.
And you don't need to be artistic or know what you're doing. There is no right or wrong way to make a junk journal. This is a place for ugly art!
We'll have materials available, and you're very welcome to bring along your own bits and pieces that you might otherwise throw away. ♻️
Most importantly, this is about being creative, reusing what we already have and spending some time together, instead of buying new things.
A little note about our community
Nature in Common is about creating spaces where people can feel welcome, regardless of their experience, background or abilities. We do not tolerate sexism, racism, xenophobia, transphobia, homophobia or hateful behaviour. Our community guidelines apply to these sessions too, so we ask everyone to treat each other with kindness and respect. No matter who we are, we all have nature in common.
