Join us for an unforgettable night of music with Kadialy Kouyate, the renowned kora player, singer, and songwriter whose artistry is steeped in the ancient griot traditions of West Africa.

Born into a long line of Kouyate griots in southern Senegal, Kadialy’s music is a living testament to the storytelling heritage of the Mandinka people. Having absorbed this deep-rooted tradition from a young age, he has since evolved his sound into a contemporary, global language—merging ancestral wisdom with modern musical expression.

Now a vital presence in London’s vibrant music scene, Kadialy has collaborated with international artists including Mumford & Sons, Baaba Maal, Abel Selaocoe, Shabaka Hutchings, Camilla George, and Greentea Peng (with whom he co-wrote the hit single Downers). His performances with Mahalia, Pa Salieu, and Adekunle Gold have graced platforms like Later with Jools Holland, BBC’s Live Lounge, and Wembley Arena.

His latest project, Terri Kunda – House of Friendship, a collaboration with Chinese pipa master Gao Hong, received five stars from Songlines and won two gold medals at the Global Music Awards for Best Duo and Best Instrumentalist(s).

Whether performing solo or with a full ensemble, Kadialy’s music is transportive—moving audiences from the Royal Festival Hall to the Royal Albert Hall, from Europe to the Americas.

Experience an evening of soul-stirring melodies, hypnotic rhythms, and transcendent storytelling through the 21-string kora.
