What's Kakuuchi?
Kaku-uchi refers to the style of purchasing alcohol at a liquor store and drinking it on the spot, either at the shop front or in a designated corner inside. It offers an unpretentious, casual atmosphere where you can enjoy drinks at prices close to the retailer's cost. Within the same space, interactions between the shopkeeper and customers naturally occur, and conversations among fellow drinkers tend to flow freely!
Another great aspect of kado-uchi is being able to sample small amounts, compare different drinks, and then purchase your favourite bottle to take home.

About Kakuuchi Event
Join us in person for a fun and casual evening of Japanese sake tasting! On arrival five sake tickets will be given allowing you to experience up to five different glasses of delicious sake coupled with free small snacks, perfect for both beginners and enthusiasts. Feel free to buy multiple tickets if you want to try more sake as potentially more than five bottles will be opened or if you wanted to drink more of the ones you liked. Come and go anytime between 5 - 8pm to relax, and enjoy the unique flavours of Japan in a friendly atmosphere. We do kindly ask if you could leave by our closing time of 8pm. Event goers get a 10% discount if they end up liking a bottle or are wanting to try more. Don't miss out on this awesome chance to explore and savour the best sake around!

How to enjoy Kakuuchi?
- Buy the ticket from online or the shop (If you buy from the shop, the price will be cheaper, just £10)
- Come to the event and 5 tickets will be given at the shop
- Choose the sake you'd like to try and let staff know ( 1 ticket = 1 cup of sake )
- Enjoy the sake! If you have any questions, feel free to ask our staff
- Each slot is for 1H, but if you want to stay and socialize with other attendees it's fine (Our shop closes at 8, so please leave by then)
- Don't forget a Sake bottle for your home! You will be eligible for 10% discount for all Japanese sake in our store. You can buy them at the tills, ask a member of staff
