Lang Toun Cycles is a community bike shop in the heart of Kirkcaldy. We offer cycle servicing and repairs, sales of refurbished bikes, new ebikes and cycling accessories, a bike and electric-bike loan scheme, bike maintenance training and volunteering opportunities.

In this bike maintenance class, you will learn how to keep your bike clean, especially in the winter.

Learn how to keep your bike clean during the winter months.This will help your bike function better and reduce the need for maintenance. We will look at keeping dirt, mud and salty water out of your bottom bracket, keeping your brakes clean and noise-free and finally your chain. Keeping your derailleurs clean will also keep you peddling.Delivered by Lang Toun Cycles’ experienced cycle mechanics, anyone can register for this course. No previous experience necessary. You will also get a free bottle of chain oil to take homeWater, Tea and coffee will be availableIdeally you should bring along your own bike or, if you like you can use one of our provided bikes.
