What is Bird Ringing?
- Bird ringing is a monitoring technique where a lightweight ring is placed around a bird’s leg 💍
- The ring allows researchers to identify individual birds and track information about their survival, migration, productivity, and movements over time 📈
- The process is strictly regulated and carried out by trained and licensed individuals to ensure there’s no harm to the birds 😊
