The event is free to enter and open to any chess player. We ask that a donation is made to Keith's chosen charity which is The Parkinson Trust. We will accept your kind donation and make a single payment on everyone's behalf. Thank you !

A large range of pre-owned books from Keith's extensive library will be made available for purchase and, again, all proceeds will go to The Parkinson Trust.

This is a rapidplay tournament consisting of six rounds. The time control is R20' + 10"

Results from the event will be submitted to the English Chess Federation for the purpose of grading.

Each player should be at least a Bronze category member of the English Chess Federation on September 14th 2019.

Pairings will be made using UTU Swiss software using August ECF Rapidplay gradings or converted from a standard play grading or estimated in the absence of a grade.

Round times will be :

  1. 10 am
  2. 11 am
  3. 12 pm
  4. 2pm
  5. 3pm
  6. 4pm

Should a round or rounds overun then we reserve the right to modify the scehdule accordingly. We will try our best to keep to schedule with the prize and trophy presentation at 5pm or thereabouts.

DGT2010 timers will be used throughout.

There will be a trophy for the event winner and the winner's name will be added to The Keith Richardson chess board trophy.

The highest placed player who is a bona fide member of Camberley Chess Club on September 14th 2019 will have their name added to the Camberley Chess Club Annual Championship Trophy plus a smaller trophy to retain. There will be seperate awards for the highest placed player whose ECF grading is less than 150. There will be a seperate award for the highest placed Junior (under 18) player.

A photographer will be present during the event and for the prizegiving.

In charge of results and pairings will be Ken & Christine Coates.

The arbiter will be Ken Coates.

A club member will be cooking lunch and there is a Co-Operative shop close by if need be.
