Kickstart Info Session, Tuesday 22nd 10-10:45 am

Well Grounded runs a series of Specialty Coffee Training Academies. We empower people with the skills, training, mentorship and qualifications they need to access work in the specialty coffee industry. Our aftercare programme has moved over 643 of our Graduates into work, further training and education and provides ongoing free wellbeing and coffee training.

Well Grounded

As you may know, the government has announced a new Kickstart Scheme - the aim of this scheme is to support the millions of young people facing unemployment due to the coronavirus. In a nutshell, the government will pay the salary of a young person you employ for 6 months (up to 25 hours a week at the national minimum wage). https://www.gov.uk/government/collections/kickstart-scheme To see how we can help you we are hosting a Kickstart Information Briefing. The aim of this session is to: -Provide you with the information we have on the Kickstart Scheme - the eligibility of young people, the role of the employer, and your responsibilities. -Understand how we can help you move through this process, linking you to government funds and identifying the support you and your potential recruits will need. The session will be run by Eve Wagg, Well Grounded's CEO and founder, and we will have representatives from local authorities and the Department for Work and Pensions. We really look forward to speaking with anyone interested and hopefully supporting many young people into work in our wonderful industry.
