Join expert falconer Danny Cameron from Eagle Eye Falconry for this fun family workshop. Danny will show you how to handle owls, hawks, falcons and other birds of prey as he teaches you all about their diet and habitat in the elegant setting of Robert Fuller's gallery courtyard.
If the weather is dry Danny will fly his falcons through Robert's private woodland so that you can watch them swoop through the trees.
By the end of the session you will be able to fly a bird all by yourself and truly experience one of England’s oldest sports. Falconry was once a hobby that only noblemen were allowed to take part in – so make the most of your chance to try out this ancient pastime for the day and get up close to some truly noble birds.
Children must be accompanied by an adult and adults must purchase a ticket.
