Baby-friendly knitting, crochet and creative community
Learn to knit with your baby!
Over 4 weeks you'll learn the basics, building up to knitting a cute pixie bonnet hosted by Jo. All materials are included and you can work at your own pace between sessions.
Knitting is a lovely way to make something special for your little one, and is a great hobby to pick up and put down in whatever quiet moments you can find within the unpredictable schedule of life with a baby!
If your baby is happy in a sling, we suggest bringing that so that you can have your hands free - but there'll be space to pop little ones down on a playmat, and we'll work at a slow pace with lots of breaks. If you are pregnant you are so welcome to join too.
After the class there'll be a drop in knitting group - beginners are free to stay and practice, and if you already knit you can bring your baby and whatever you're working on. Crochet and other crafts welcome! But please no sharp needles/pins for safety.
