Will my kintsugi item be ready at the end of the class?

Accepted Answer

Yes, your fixed item will be ready at the end of the 90 mins session to take home with you.

Question 2

Can I bring my own item to fix to the class?

Accepted Answer

Yes, you can bring your own item along to the class. I do recommend that you have a practice on the china provided before starting on your own piece to hone your skills. NOTE - there is no guarantee you will complete a personal item if it is more than 5 x broken pieces or may have complex breaks.

Is everything included in the ticket price?

Accepted Answer

Yes - all the kit will be provided for you to fix a broken piece of china. There will be a selection of broken items for you to choose from (cups, pots, bowls, plates) in a mixture of between 4-8 breaks.

Is the venue close to the tube?

Accepted Answer

Yes, the NEW Saturday venue is located just a few minutes away from Maida Vale Tube Station on the Bakerloo Line.

Question 5

Help! I can't find the venue?

Accepted Answer

Please look out for 'Beattie Construction Ltd' - the classes are held in their showroom. The venue is just along from Lauderdale Mansions South, close to the corner of Lauderdale Rd and Castellain Rd.

Question 6

What time do doors open?

Accepted Answer

The doors will open for the class venue approx. 10 mins before the class starts. There are a number of coffee shops and eateries close by to go to before and after the event.
