Sendiass is a confidential and impartial information, advice and support service for parents, carers, children and young people (up to 25 years) on issues related to Special Educational Needs and Disability (SEND).

Face-to-face workshop for Suffolk parents exploring the process of support in schools for pupils with SEN, disabilities and medical needs.

Kirkley Children's Centre

SENDIASS is offering parents and carers a face-to-face workshop in different parts of Suffolk, explaining the process of SEN support in schools, including support for pupils with disabilities and medical needs. The Children&#x27;s Centre requires masks to be worn and we are limiting places to 10 to maintain some social distancing. Please only book if you believe you can attend.The session will explore:•	The graduated cycle of SEN support and how parents and pupils are involved•	What happens if a child or young person needs more support•	School responsibilities for supporting pupils with disabilities and medical needsRefreshments will be available. We regret we cannot offer creche facilities.
