Join us for a relaxed day of knitting at Rebuild with Claudia Stursberg, offering two small, hands-on workshops for different experience levels. Whether you’re completely new to continental knitting or already confident with the basics and keen to build your skills, these sessions are designed to be friendly, practical and encouraging. Small group sizes mean plenty of individual support, time to ask questions, and space to learn at your own pace.

Morning session- Introduction to Continental Knitting (Beginners)

This session is a gentle, hands-on introduction to continental knitting, ideal for beginners or knitters curious about trying a different technique. Claudia will guide you through the basics step by step, helping you get comfortable with the method and build confidence as you go.

Details:

  • Time: 10:00 – 12:00
  • Group size: Maximum 6 people
  • Experience level: Beginners

What’s included:

  • All tools and materials provided
  • Expert guidance throughout

Afternoon session- Intermediate Knitting Techniques

This session is for knitters who already know how to knit and would like to develop their skills further and learn how to create patterns using purl- and knit stitches in different ways. Claudia will introduce more advanced techniques and offer practical tips to help you progress and gain confidence.

Details:

  • Time: 13:00 – 15:00
  • Group size: Maximum 6 people
  • Experience level: Intermediate

What’s included:

  • All tools and materials provided
  • Support and guidance tailored to the group


Session Information

  • These workshops are aimed at adults. You will need to be 18 or over to attend.
  • Unless otherwise specified, all materials will be provided by us.
  • Refreshments such as tea, coffee and biscuits will be provided.
  • Due to the content of some of our activities, you will be required to undertake a Health and Safety briefing before the start of the session. This will be provided by us.
  • Please wear activity appropriate clothing and footwear when visiting us.
