Bristol Dance Futures

This event, organised by Bristol Dance Futures, is to bring together people from Bristol's dance sector and people from other parts of the cultural sector...
Bristol Dance Futures knows that cultural organisations in Bristol have resources and opportunities for dance artists which the dance sector isn’t necessarily aware of; conversely we know that many Bristol-based dance artists are committed to working in interesting and innovative ways which Bristol’s wider cultural ecology isn’t necessarily aware of.
Prior to this event we’re getting cultural organisations in the city to pledge what they can offer to the dance sector. 
These will be shared at the event, alongside opportunities for dance artists to talk about their work, an Open Space to discuss matters important to you, and, of course, plenty of networking opportunities.

Although the event is free, there are 20 bursaries available to attend of £60 for independent dance artists / producers – these will be offered on a first come first served basis. This is in recognition that independents should be paid for their time to come to strategic events. If you would like a bursary to attend, please email Ruth Hecht - dancefutures@theatrebristol.net
