It brings communities, organisations and policymakers together to understand the issues people care about and support collective action to improve lives. The organisation involves communities in research and innovates together to inspire positive change, delivering distinctive initiatives and programmes to shape a fairer future. It also powers the Institute for Community Studies.

The Young Foundation

An interactive event for the Knowlsey community reflecting on the community's response to the COVID pandemic and planning for the future.

Join local residents for a social and informal get together, listening to and sharing stories about how the Knowsley community has responded to the pandemic. This is an opportunity for us to collectively reflect on community responses to the pandemic – the good, the bad, and the ugly – and start a conversation about how to create a better Knowsley for the future. This event is part of the KnowsleyFutures project, led by the Young Foundation in partnership with Knowsley Council. It will contribute to the creation of an archive of stories from the pandemic as well as shaping a local strategy for rebuilding post-Covid. Events are scheduled for 2 hours each but may finish earlier. The events will be on Zoom, and we will send a link to the event and an information pack when you have registered for a free ticket here.
