L2 Team Teach refresher/top up

For have who need to renew their Team Teach Level 2 certificate or have an existing Level 1 that they would like to upgrade

The course will focus on recapping and refreshing educators in the tools to reduce the use of force by giving delegates a further understanding of the reasons for challenging behaviour, how to prevent, how to de-escalate and when totally necessary, how to physically intervene.

• P ersonal space and body language
• D e-escalation
• V alues
• Understanding the Law
• 1 person prompts, guides and escorts
• 2 person escorts
• Personal safety techniques
• Strategies for small children
• Understanding and reworking the conflict spiral
• C hanging the perceptions of challenging behaviour
• T eaching positive behaviour

E ach delegate will recieve a certificate that lasts 1 year

Those booking on this course must have an up to date Level 1 or 2 Team Teach certificate. Those without an in date certificate must complete a 12 hour Level 2 course
