lab life: recode
Sat 4 March 2017, 10:00 – 13:00 GMT
Lab life: recode is now SOLD OUT. If you missed our 'recode' theme, don't worry, tickets for our next theme 'reality' will be on sale next week.
Continuing with our recode theme, the Institute of Imagination brings you our first ‘lab life’ weekend family workshops, taking place at our new Imagination Lab at The Workshop on London’s Albert Embankment.
Join us for a more intimate family workshop as we demystify ‘code’ with playful interactive workshops that encourage crafting, programming and tinkering. Help us unpick our logo and create Morse code by building a transmitter then create your own coding languages, set off a chain reaction of events, code with art by instructing a robot and learn about basic programming language and how to navigate the internet.
For more information on the activities visit our website.
This is a ticketed event with limited availability. Please note that a ticket will need to be booked for each participant (both adults and children) and that all children will need to be accompanied by an adult. All workshops are available for adults and children to participate and we strongly encourage parents and carers to get involved on the day.
By booking a ticket to attend this Institute of Imagination event you will be automatically added to our mailing list which will keep you up to date with future family events (we will not use your details for any other purposes). If you would prefer not to be added then please send us an email: firstname.lastname@example.org
