Lace @ Juice
Come join us at Juice Studios for an afternoon of creativity on National Lacemaking Day! Take your first steps into the world of lace-making with @CatternLace guiding you every step of the way. No experience or equipment needed, just a love of making, textiles, or a desire to keep this endangered heritage craft alive.
You will:
- receive step-by-step guidance to learn the basic bobbin lace stitches and techniques and how they can be combined to create different effects- traditional or modern
- receive a pattern template and access to resources to support you beyond the workshop
- meet other crafters in an inclusive, friendly and welcoming space. Come on your own or bring a friend!
- have time away to learn, relax and be mindfully absorbed in a creative activity
- be able to take away your work.
