Landscape architecture is a profession concerned with shaping the world around us, from greenspace to city centres. It is a design based career that requires active engagement with the outside world in addition to collaborative, creative workplaces. If you are interested in a creative career that will allow you to make real change in the world around you, from improving physical and mental health of communities, to increased biodiversity, to creating a world more resilient to climate change, landscape architecture may be the career for you. The Landscape Architects Knowledge Exchange is an opportunity for anyone thinking of studying landscape architecture to learn about the profession from practicing landscape architects and to learn about the study involved from current students. We will be examining landscape architecture from different angles and asking attendants to reflect on the landscape in their own communities before starting a design exercise based on a real world site, along with a crash course in Miro - a collaborative design technology used by real landscape architects.
